Evolve Replicator is a proven solution, used both in-house and by customers, including leading US healthcare organizations. Built on decades of experience with MUMPS/Caché® and SQL relational databases, it bridges two very different data worlds while preserving performance and data integrity.
The Replicator maps hierarchical MUMPS/Caché® data structures to the table-based structures of SQL databases. It creates an initial snapshot in the target SQL database, then continuously keeps it up to date through a fully automated replication process. No manual intervention is required for ongoing synchronization.
The Replicator daemon reads database updates from the MUMPS database journal and translates them into SQL operations executed on the target relational database. This architecture supports near real-time refresh, making replicated data available for analytics, reporting, and operational applications that rely on timely information.
